“The Wedding Feast”

As the Lord gathers His church

from the four corners of the earth, preparing to rapture us away to His grand wedding feast,  is it a literal feast?  Will there be  lots of delicious foods, set on a grand, long and elegant table?

Or is it perhaps, a spiritual feast as well?  A feast able to fill our spirits with everything we have ever spiritually hungered for.  For instance, the ability to love and be loved in the true, divine agape way.

We would feel no jealousy, hate, envy or malice.  We would have the ability to have and to hold within us the peace that passes understanding, knowing no fear, prejudice, pain or sorrow.

We would posses the knowledge of all life, including our own divinely ordered place, in our God’s grand creation of all life.  We would be able to  rule with our Creator in the new Heaven and new earth.

Envision Jesus standing just a few feet away from you.  Your eyes become fastened on Him, drinking in His every move.  Then, He sees you and His eyes look deeply into yours, you are engulfed, your whole being smiles and you become one with Him.  You are willing to be and do anything He desires of you.

You cannot get enough of Him, and so you stay absorbed in our Lord.  He is our beginning and with Him, there really is no end, “And the Spirit and the bride say come.”
